The 1976 KSUL Program Guide!
Through the courtesy of my good friend Richard Deem, I present to you the 1976 KSUL 90.1 Program Guide! KSUL was a ten watt FM radio station on the campus of California State University at Long Beach. When I found out that there was a real genuine radio station only a quick bicycle ride from my house, I was THERE! As a teenage radio geek, KSUL was the place where...well, click here to read a story about how KSUL and a Ron Cey record changed my life! This edition of the KSUL guide features all of my favorite programs: Rock with the Hit Man with Rocky Principe, Metal Machine Music with Lady Stardust, and D.J. Gyurina! I wonder if "The New Order" playing the KSUL benefit was Ron Asheton's old band?

Rock & Roll Radio With Reverend Dan This Friday Night From 11pm til 6am On KXLU Los Angeles 88.9FM & KXLU.COM!

Hey Hoodlum!
Reverend Dan here, letting you know that this Friday night, March 20th, I'll be spinning the best Rock & Roll all night long on KXLU Los Angeles 88.9FM and KXLU.COM! It seems that Stella has to go to a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday morning, and, so she may get a few hours of sleep, she asked me to cover her fine radio program "Stray Pop". So I Will! That means from 11pm til 6am, you'll hear seven solid hours of Rock & Roll radio from yours truly! And should you have a request during those hours, gimme a call at the KXLU phone line at 310.338.5958!
And don't forget that KXLU has a great lineup of radio programs on Friday that you really should hear! Starting at 6pm, tune into the future of music with Demolisten with Fred & Octavius! At 8pm, Uncle Tim brings you the best in vintage Rock & Roll & Reggae on The Bomb Shelter! When 9pm rolls around, get ready for a double dose of disc jockey Ned Learner: At 9pm, Ned brings Recognition to your radio with the best soul music on the dial, and at 10pm, Ned hosts Instrumental, spinning an hour of quality instrumental music! And then at 11pm this week, I'll start the Rock & Roll and not quit until 6am! Be there and Be well!

Aircheck: The May 24, 2008 Edition of Reverend Dan's Music For Nimrods
I said that I would, and damned if I did! This here is the aircheck of last Saturday's program, and I know you're going to dig it. No playlist as of yet, because I want you to be surprised when you listen to the radio. The file is hosted at Megaupload, so lemme know if all goes well when you try to download this 166mb file! Click on my dinosaur friend and myself, then on the new page type in the 3-digit code and hit enter! On the next page that appears, find the column headed "free". At the bottom of that column, you should see a countdown, usually starting around 45 or so. When that gets to zero, a new download button should appear. Hit that button and it should start the download. Enjoy The Show!
