Tower Records Anaheim: Reverend Dan at Work in 1980
Back in the 1980s, I worked at the Tower Records store in Anaheim, California. At this particular time, the Residents "Commercial Album" had just been released and Gregg Fylpaa, Mike Marsh and myself were really getting into the album. Evidently.
Mike had made the eyeball heads using paper-mache over punchballs (purchased at the Zody's across the street) and we each then customized our eyeball to our personal liking. We are hanging out next to store artist Karen Schmidt's Nash Rambler. It's probably Halloween.

Punk Rock Means $50 Sneakers
Here's the latest in Chuck Taylor sneakers.
From the Converse website:

"A collection of sneakers inspired by iconic bands who defined what it means to rock. The Clash. Cobain. Blondie. Kurt Cobain. And Converse. What a lineup."
What a bunch of fuckin' Yokos.

The Bloody Brains play a benefit this Saturday for the family of John Street

This is a benefit for the family of John Street. John was killed in a motorcycle accident recently, and he left behind a wife with a part time job, and 3 small children. There will be a small cover charge and if you'd like to give more, that's fine. ALL OF THE PROCEEDS OF THIS SHOW GO TO THE FAMILY. We've been told (but can't confirm) that even some of the booze might be donated. Also playing are Bloodhook and The Mormons. Please help if you can!
